Lead / Senior Python Engineer

About the project:
A multi-tenant SaaS product that integrates with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams), Jira, and uses AI for standup automation.
Responsibilities:
— End-to-end delivery readiness;
— Quality and handover standards;
— Take responsibility of the feature;
— Hands-on development – actively building features and contributing to the codebase;
— Technical ownership – architecture, key decisions, code quality;
— Delivery – breaking down tasks and ensuring timely, high-quality output;
— Stakeholder communication – translating business needs into technical solutions;
— Problem solving – resolving complex issues and removing blockers;
Requirements:
— 5+ years of experience with Python in backend development;
— Strong hands-on experience with Django and Django REST Framework, including designing and building scalable, high-load APIs;
— Solid experience with asynchronous processing using Celery and Redis, including queues, retries and error handling;
— Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including query optimization, indexing and performance tuning;
— Experience with FastAPI and real-time communication using WebSockets;
— Experience integrating authentication and authorization systems (OIDC / OAuth2 / SSO);
— Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments, as well as cloud platforms (Azure preferred or similar);
— Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar) and working with container registries;
— Understanding of microservices or modular architecture principles, with experience working in monorepo environments being a plus;
— Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset and ability to make independent technical decisions;
— Experience with code reviews, mentoring and collaboration in cross-functional teams;
— English – B2+ or higher;
Would be a plus:
— Experience with React;
